TOMESOVA RESIDENCE

Tomešova street, Brno / 2014

The residence is designed to have clear function and beauty. With its modernist concept it tries to follow the spirit of Brno housing. The design was also largely influenced by the architectural theory of form, which followed its function.

The residence consists of two floors. The second floor is shaped in the letter “L” and lies on the upper part of the ground floor with an atrium. The building is also dominant thanks to its cantilevered roof, which floats above the hill and calmly watches the Brno panorama.
